Event - Year 6 Fiver Challenge

5 July 2017

Year 6 took part in the Fiver Challenge again this year. Every child was given £5 to invest in a business which would then hopefully make a profit!

The children organised themselves into teams and chose to sell a variety of different products including; drinks, ice creams, pancakes, sweets, milkshakes, etc. The children sold their ‘wares’ on Sport’s Day and during the sponsored event. Any profits that they made will be split between the school (to buy new sport’s equipment) and between charities chosen by each group.

We are very proud of our budding entrepreneurs!

'Jump Into Summer' selling a selection of ice creams with toppings.

'Lemon and Lime Cupcake Time' selling drinks, cupcakes and running a Tombola.

Lots of customers at a busy stall.

'Panshakes' sold pancakes and milkshakes.

'Summer Surprise' selling sweets, pop, ice lollies and cake.

'Sweet Tooth' sold sweets and played games to win prizes.
