Event - Science Week

13 to 17 March 2017

The whole school had a great time celebrating Science Week. We started off with a bit of fun as we dressed up as ‘mad scientists’ and we continued with a whole array of activities – from making rainbows to making butter!

We had the chance to work with pupils and staff from Bishop Milner and particularly enjoyed seeing them make ‘Elephant Toothpaste’. Some of our children were even lucky enough to visit Bishop Milner and work in their labs using specialist equipment.

Year 5 also enjoyed a trip to Birmingham to the Big Bang Fair at the NEC. They experienced interactive stands and workshops and saw inspiring science and engineering projects.

It’s great to hear that the experiments have been continuing at home too!
