Well done Year 1

Well done to Year 1 who led a beautiful Mass on Tuesday celebrated by Father Paul. The children read and acted wonderfully to make Mass so very special.

Our promises

To mark the end of our wonderful discipleship week we offered our promises to God. We promise look after the beautiful world he created for us and to love our neighbours. The children also sang together the beautiful Laudato Si song. Well done everyone!

The message this week!

This week is National Anti-Bullying Week and we’re all taking part! The children will be creating anti-bullying towers, bunting and promises during the week!

Remembrance Day

We remember

On the 11th day of the 11th month the children all took part in a two minute silence to remember those who died for our freedom.  The children were so respectful and reverent during this time.

Year 5 lead Mass

On Tuesday 9th November the children from Year 5 led our whole school Mass.

The children read, acted and played musical instruments perfectly to make Mass a beautiful celebration.

Black History Month

During the week beginning 18th October we celebrated Black History. The children from all classes learned about why Black History Month is celebrated alongside learning about Rosa Parkes, Martin Luther King and Lewis Hamilton. We understand that everyone has the right to be treated equally – just as Jesus taught us.

Our lovely staff have been busy getting the church ready for Year 4s First Holy Communion tomorrow morning. Please keep all of the children in your prayers as they receive Jesus for the first time.

Black History Month

Well done Year 4!

On Friday 8th October the children from Year 4 led a whole school assembly about Black History Month. The children read so eloquently and shared the achievements of both black people in history and today. We were also reminded of Jesus’ teachings of treating everyone equally.
