Event - Archery Taster Day

12 April 2016

On Monday 12th April, we had an Archery Taster Day.

The coach from Robin’s Arrows archery company was called Abou. He spent the whole day in school, teaching each class how to do archery.

The children were taught the correct technique and how to stay safe. Different classes used different targets, with the maths’ targets being very popular. It was a fantastic day and the children loved it.

Later this term children from Years 3 and 4 will take part in a archery competition.
